Bring Us To Your Community

Wandering Reel is now booking events for our Summer Series in the greater Portland, OR metropolitan area. We are looking for community, neighborhood venues and spaces. We're planning screenings in backyards, community gardens, rooftop condos and public parks as well as art centers, galleries, churches and anywhere neighbors and come together to watch and discuss movies. We're also looking for senior living facilities, homeless shelters (and villages), hospitals, prisons and other institutions whose members can't come to us to host our programs for their communities.

Wandering Reel will hit the road once again in the fall of 2018. Our fall tour traditionally runs along the Pacific coast from B.C. to California but we may expand into Rocky Mountain Country as well. In 2018, we hope to tour the American South and Midwest. We're open to expand as far beyond these areas as possible, so please contact us if you'd like us to visit your community, no matter where you reside.

To bring the Wandering Reel to a venue or school near you, please email our curator, Michael Harrington, at michael@wanderingreel.org.

Remember, we screen anywhere that a curious audience can gather, watch and discuss our films. You don't even need to provide equipment, just the space and the film lovers, and reside somewhere on our tour path.

Want to host your own Wandering Reel event outside of our touring areas? Great! We're looking for satellite venues and individuals to host our programs anywhere in the world. This is a great opportunity to bring together members of your community through the awesome power of film. Contact us at info@wanderingreel.org for detailed information about hosting your own Wandering Reel "pop-up" screening.
